Privacy Policy

Overview

f0rLorN is a one-person project. Across all products — free Windows apps, Chrome extensions, and Notion templates — the same rule applies: your data stays yours. No tracking, no selling data, no analytics pipelines.

The sections below explain exactly what each product does and does not do with your data.

Data Collection

f0rLorN Audio processes your microphone audio entirely on your local machine. No audio data, settings, or usage information is ever transmitted to any server. The app has no internet connection requirement.

f0rLorN Cleaner scans and cleans files only on your local device. It does not transmit file names, paths, or any system information to external servers. All operations happen locally.

f0rLorN Network reads and adjusts your local network settings. It may connect to public DNS servers and game server endpoints to measure ping — this is a direct connection from your machine, no data is routed through or stored on any f0rLorN server.

f0rLorN Tab Manager does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

All data — including collapsed tab groups, saved sessions, settings, and your license key — is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. It never leaves your machine.

License Key Validation

When you activate a Pro license key, the extension makes a single request to api.gumroad.com to verify the key's validity. Only the license key itself is sent — no tab URLs, browsing history, or personal information is included in this request.

Permissions Used

• tabs — to read, manage, search, and switch between your open tabs locally
• storage — to save your settings, collapsed groups, and sessions on your device
• alarms — to periodically check for inactive tabs (auto-suspend feature)
• tabGroups — to read and create Chrome tab groups
• sessions — to save and restore complete browser sessions

Data Collection

Notion templates are static workspace files delivered to your own Notion account. f0rLorN does not collect, access, or store any data you enter into these templates. All your data lives in your personal Notion workspace, governed by Notion's Privacy Policy.

Gumroad

All paid products (Tab Manager Pro, Freelancer OS, Clip Creator OS) are sold through Gumroad. Payment processing, billing information, and purchase records are handled entirely by Gumroad. f0rLorN does not store your payment details. See Gumroad's Privacy Policy for details.

Third Parties

f0rLorN does not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties. The only external services contacted are:

• Gumroad API — for license key validation in Tab Manager Pro (only when you activate a key)
• Public DNS / game servers — direct ping checks in f0rLorN Network (no f0rLorN server involved)
• Notion — your template data lives in your own Notion account
